This book managed to surprise me, which doesn't happen a lot with thrillers for me (the curse of reading too many of these!)

Overall I thought the book was entertaining, but it went on a bit longer than necessary and I couldn't quite connect to the characters or the writing.

while still thoroughly enjoyable, this is probably my least favourite of cavanagh’s works. the story, while interesting, just didn’t gel with me as much as his others! i did gasp at that moment as i did not see it coming and those are cavanagh’s strongest parts of his books, but overall just didn’t stick with me like his others

A nice story with a lots of twists. This would make a good movie, although not a memorable one.
Lots of action scenes all throughout the book.
