this wasn't particularly memorable or unique but it was really well done and very sweet and perfect for me at the time.

I'm not usually one for involving kids as being their caretaker or single dad or whatever, but Chase did not give me those single dad vibes. The first book and the beginning played Alex like she's be weak and shy, but she is anything but. Ended up loving her. She goes after what she wants!

I loved this book so much! Chase, Alex and the wards 🥺. Tessa Dare knows how to write a fun, lighthearted yet wholesome book.

I really enjoyed this one! It was as farfetched as all of Tessa Dare’s plots, but it worked for me. Alexandra was a little to desperate for my taste, but I loved Chase, Rosamund, and Daisy. And don’t even get me started on Millicent. I laughed about her every single time she appeared. There’s not a lot of originality in these novels but there is certainly a lot of fun.
