An enjoyable read. It was an interesting story and the narrative framing was very fun to read.

This book wanted to be a lot of things that already exist elsewhere in the lives of real, actual rock stars/bands.

I mean, what a story! The drama of a super famous 70s rock band is such an inherently interesting topic, and then you add the framing device of the story being told through interviews with the members? So fascinating! The way the interpersonal drama unfolds is so much fun to read. This is also a great book to listen to as an audio book if your version has different narrators for the different characters, because that truly brings the interviews alive.
