Definitely not the typical Nicholas Sparks book but just as enjoyable.

The end of this book made me feel disgusting. I had to try not to throw up from how sick it made me feel. And while the writing was good in that sense I was looking for Nicholas sparks and I feel like I got someone else.

Simple, predictable and kinda cheesy but also entertaining and great to relax after a long day

This book could’ve been like 250 pages less and still had the same effect. Also the plot was obvious super early on like way too early. It was blaringly obvious. So much filler. Way too long for what it was

I have a soft spot for Nicolas Sparks. It's all very very bad. Like so bad. But I like to hate-read it and I'll never stop.
(THE NOTEBOOK AND A WALK TO REMEMBER ARE OBVI NOT INCLUDED)
Nicholas Sparks really doesn't like women. If you're coming to his books with the hope of finding strong women you're not going to find them here. He loves his heroines but only if they fit a certain standard. They're not allowed to be flighty or too overtly female (NO PINK ALLOWED). Also- no salads (that's sissy food) and no women's empowerment talk (there's an actual convo in this book about how feminists hate all men).
But yet- I've read this book like 4x
