Loved it

This was probably my favorite so far. I felt this had more action and storyline and just the right amount of romance. I'm really enjoying this series. Can't wait for the next one.

I loved the first 3 books in the series but 4 and 5 just seem to have strayed and are so different. It took me months to read book 5. I usually would get through the other books in a day or two.

Spoiler I feel like nothing really happened in this book except that everybody got weaker. Ryder was weaker. I mean how does he get captured so easily. Just seemed really weird to me. I like this series but it needs to make some serious progress in the next book.

So fairy good.

Wow. Words can’t describe how amazingly this series is. Amelia can write a story that can take you away from reality and suck you in.

Syn, is and will always be my favorite female lead. She is strong, dedicated, loyal, aspiring, and independent. She does not back down and will fight with everything in her to protect the ones she loves. Syn’s character really did grow from a naive witch to a goddess and the transition is breathtaking to read.

Ryder, is and will always be my favorite male lead. He is what he is and never makes apologies for it. He is strong, fierce, loyal, dedicated, and a protector. His love for Syn and their children bleeds through his skin. His character transition from Fighting Destiny to now is also breathtaking. What I love about Ryder’s character growth is that he is still the same person from book 1, but with more. He loves and he loves fiercely.

I was sad that there wasn’t more steamy moments, but boy that one scene in the beginning was hot hot hot. I’m not into scenes like that because I don’t the H sharing his woman, but it worked like no other. With that being said. This book focus more fixing fae and the coming of future characters. This book was building on the finale and boy was it good. This was a page turner and also pulled at the heartstrings. I really have no idea how much pain and loss Syn can take. I just wanted to hold her and joy her OPI nail polishes. The loss of this one character was very sad because I felt like this character could have taught and do more with Syn and even Ryder. But! A silver lining was made in this book. I often wonder why Adam couldn’t let go or why Amelia made sure that Adam couldn’t let go. I don’t want to ruin it, but if what was said towards the end was true, please let it be true, I really hope destiny can make things work out for Adam. Speaking of silver lining, I’m glad the wrong that was done to Ristan is being undone. I literally yelled “woot woot” for him and Olivia.

I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this book. While the intimate moments between Syn and Ryder were far and In between I think we can all appreciate that Amelia does not need that to make her book. Her writing is strong and pulls you in. She created stories within her story. For instance. I’m really curious about Ciara’s situation and what she has planned.

Love everything about this story and can’t wait to continue to read this fantastic series.

My least favorite of the series so far...
I don't like the idea that I need to read Lucian and Ristan's story to understand the first half of this book..
I like the when the Horde challenged Syn but it ended so soon..
and the last rescue mission for me is all talking and walking...

I love this series. This installment had a lot of action and focus on syn away from Ryder. I love them as a couple but I really enjoyed seeing them spilt up and be badass on their own. There are some great set ups for the next book.
