Ugh, this book. So I listened to the audiobook and whoever was narrating had a super grating voice, so that didn't make the experience any better. Overall, an interesting allegory, even more interesting once you do some research into what it all represents.

Both amusing and terrifying in its accurate depiction of the process by which a personality cult assumes control of the benighted.

I was never assigned this book in school and read it for the first time as an adult. I’m glad I read it now instead of in junior high where I have a much better understanding of politics, taxes, capitalism, corruption, and inequality. Orwell’s message is clear, strong, and accurate. Animal Farm will always be a great reminder of how important it is to educate the masses and encourage critical thinking.

My friend had wanted me to read this for months and I finally got around to it. I definitely enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. It was quite funny in some parts. It gave to good explanation to communist and why it would not work, for some people. It was worded in a way that is easily understandable for many. Overall, I really liked the book.
