Not as funny as the first, but still I heart her and always will with her no holds barred discussion on her mental health. More people should be as open, its important and very very normal.

Such a chaotic, silly book that addresses such important topics!
It was kind of a lot for me, but it was a fun read and I recognize how impactful and empowering this book can be!

Read. This. Book. If you are weird, anxious, introverted, or any other adjective that are deemed odd, this book will be beneficial to you. Sometimes you read the right book at the right time, this is one of those times. Basically, I can not recommend it enough.

“Don’t sabotage yourself. There are plenty of other people willing to do that for free.”

I am not normally a fan of self-help books, but the audiobook appeared in my library app and I was drawn to the cover. On a whim, I borrowed it and absolutely loved it!

Furiously Happy is wildly funny while still dealing with very serious topics.  The author blends humor with mental health in a way that feels both refreshing and comforting. The author tackles her struggles with anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues head-on, but does so with an unflinching wit that makes even the darkest topics feel relatable.

Furiously Happy is a mix of absurd anecdotes, self-reflection, and moments of surprising emotional depth. Lawson’s writing style is chaotic in the best way and I loved it!  Following along with her “stream of consciousness” style of writing was so entertaining and I found myself laughing hysterically while listening on my commute.  Awesome book!
