Yes, this book has lots of sex but at least there were additional plot lines.

I must admit I like the first part [b:Backstage Pass|8379374|Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour #1)|Olivia Cunning|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1301841164s/8379374.jpg|13235522] much more than this book.
Sed, main hero, here was a jerk. No matter that he hurt people because he thought he was doing it 'for the greater good', he still hurt them. I just could not understand his logic. And Jessica who put up with it was too much doormat-y for my taste...

Sed Lionheart

Jessica Chase

Really liked this story. Not as good as Backstage pass but still a very hot read.

Sed was a complete douche in BSP but it was revealed that his general attitude to women was due to a girl breaking his heart but as we find out in Rock Hard its not all that clean cut.

Jessica Chase is a law student, a struggling one at that. *Insert Jessica taking a job stripping (Exotic dancing as she put it.) This is where Sed sees her again and instantly goes crazy for her dancing.

Sed's actions leads to Jessica being fired she tracks down Sed to give her a piece of her mind only to be offered a job with Myrna (Brian's wife).

This leads to a lot of earth shattering sex between the two and some major drama for a certain band mate. It leads you to think whether all this drama will be too much for the band to survive.

I found Jessica kind of annoying in places. There was time she couldn't see the wood from the trees where Sed's feelings were concerned. I just found it hard to relate to her.

I look forward to reading Jace's story!

Read for #DoinItDirty Read-a-Thon

What I Liked:
1) Sed
2) Jessica
3) the romance
4) the smex
5) their connection
6) Jessica's need to accomplish something on her own---I get that I really do :)
7) The rest of the boys
8) Myr hiring Jessica --brilly Myr really!
9) The upside-down name on the banner :)

What I didn't like as much:
1) Still not enough story though this one was better balanced

Great smexy read! It gets a 5 for me just because I felt the connection between the characters along with the smexy!

Does skimming thru a book count as reading? I really need to read Backstage Pass at some point because Double Time was meh and this book was a tad bit better. Other reviewers called Jessica a bitch and I'd agree. She's the type of a girl I wouldn't want a close guy friend to date. I guarantee we wouldn't get along.

Also there are sex gods and there are men with abnormalities that need to be included in the Guiness Book of Records or something. Sed falls into the latter category. The first sex scene I was a little convinced but as the book progressed, I became a lot more suspicious. It's not fun reading an erotic romance that has marathon sex scenes you'd rather skip. And Jessica was so unsure about her life, I wanted someone to throw her a self-help book. She really annoyed me. The only character I could stomach was Trey, and that's only because he really comes off as a sweetheart/sensual angel.

Urgh! Like I said, I better read Backstage Pass so that I understand why this series gets such high ratings. Also, do people in rock bands have this much sex in real life? Mama Mia, the Catholic in me is cringing at the thought :)

I wasn't a huge fan of these characters, and some of the background characters weren't consistent with the first book. Also, I didn't really like Jessica or Sed - their bullshit was so manufactured and tiring, not engaging. I won't be coming back to this one
