This was absolutely awesome.. I didn't think it was as good as Brian's book, but that was fine because come on, it was about Sedric Lionheart!! I love Sed! But so much happened in this book, it had me in tears one minute, then laughing my head off the next. Olivia Cunning is definitely one brilliant author, her books well written, with great characters and hot scenes.

After [b:Backstage Pass|8379374|Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour #1)|Olivia Cunning|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348192403s/8379374.jpg|13235522], this was a bit of a let down. For so much of the book I didn't like Jessica and Sed had moments of such insensitivity, that I wavered between wanting to hug and wanting to kick him. There is plenty of sex and chemistry between the 2 of them, but I kept wanting them to have an actual conversation. Never happened.
SpoilerA prime example was the comedy of errors of them both attempting to propose at the same time.
Come on, say what you mean people!
I definitely enjoyed the depth of character development for the rest of the Sinners. Oh yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to Trey's book.

I found this as a random suggestion via my library app. I hadn't read the rest of the series and had pretty low expectations. Most erotica books I've read focus on the sex and have a very loose story to tie it together.

This surprisingly had some believable plot to it. Dealing with health issues, groupies, Rockstar life. Yeah it was over the top like most erotica novels but the romance seemed believableish. The talk/speech and descriptions were kinda realistic enough to emerse me into the story/plot and want to keep reading for more.

A year ago or so I read the whole Sinners On Tour series except for this one because I hated Jessica due to what we get to know about her in the first book and a few days ago I decided to give it a chance.
I'm glad I decided that because It is a really good book, I still think Hot Ticket is the best but I liked Sed and I think I liked Jessica even more.
I don't like the idea of being possessive being portrayed as a sexy thing because it is actually a really toxic thing BUT in general it is a really sexy and entertaining book.

DNF @45%...

I absolutely loved how Sed was portrayed in Backstage Pass but his character in this book seemed so underdeveloped and the storyline just lacked depth.. It seemed kind of lazily put together in terms of plot and story line. Honestly just disappointed... I might come back to it and finish it out of curiosity even though I know there's gonna be a happy ending but at the moment, I just couldn't really get into it.

Olivia Cunning did not disappoint in the second book of Sinners on tour! The only thing I was disappointed about was that I have to wait until the next book comes out. But I must get back to review.

In Rock Hard Olivia introduces Jessica Chase which you previously got a glimpse of who she was in Backstage Pass. Of course we all think Sedric is a asshole and doesn't deserve a happy ending. Well you're wrong! We get to see inside of his head and see why he does what he does. Even better we get some side action with Trey, Jace, and Eric. Not that kind of side action that I wish would happen with me in the middle, but we get to see their characters grow and love them a little more too. Or maybe lust, but anyway.

If you're wondering if the steamy scenes are better or worse than the ones in Backstage Pass... I'd want to keep the surprise but they are even better! Two words: Eiffel Tower. I'll give you two more just to be nice. Bellagio fountains. I may or may not have a evil grin on my face.

I must say I wanted to strangle Jessica and Sed at various times in the book to just get back together already, but that is the hopeless romantic in me. The ending was very cute and I laughed many times toward the end. This book wasn't clean cut as in, he sees Jessica and BAM they are back together. Its a gradual coming back together even though they both have problems with each other, they overcome them. And that ladies and gentlemen speaks to my romantic heart.

I can't wait for the next installment of Sinners on Tour! Great Job Olivia!

After reading and reviewing Backstage Pass, I was in heaven when the publisher sent me a copy of the second book in the Sinners Tour series! I wasn't sure how the author was going to write about Sed Lionheart after what he had done to Brian in the previous book, but I had faith in one of my favorite authors!

After Jessica walked out of Sed's life, he has been on a sexual spree that would put Hugh Hefner to shame! Sed is cocky, stubborn, and can be mean as hell with his words, but underneath the attitude was a sensitive and loving man. He tries to take care of his friends the best way he knows how, but sometimes it comes across with him sticking his foot in his mouth sideways. I understand that many people had a hard time liking this story because of the way Sed acted at times, but I actually thought the attitude fit the character and you start to understand him as you read more into the book.

Jessica could be just as stubborn and showed it when she left Sed after he gave her an ultimatum. I can understand the reasoning why she left, but I can also understand why Sed gave it to her in the first place after reading about his personality more. I did find Jessica to be annoying at times, but I think this was more to the fact of my possessive feelings towards the boys of the band! I want them happy, and it was torture reading the path the author kept taking them down!

The other members of the band play prominent roles in the story as well. Trey has a crisis that effects everyone, Jace is still dealing with his own issues without giving explanations, Brian is trying to enjoy time with his new wife Myrna, and Eric is still as playful and fun as before.

I loved the steamy sex scenes between Jessica and Sed that includes plenty of public shows! While I enjoyed the story of the two main characters, I enjoyed Trey's story so much more! I personally can't wait for his book and from what I understand, his book is going to be the last in the series! Oh how the author loves to tease me! All I can say is, at least the author pleases me with her stories while teasing me with sexy characters!

This was fun, though not as much as the first for me. I was really upset with Sed at the beginning, learning what he had told Jessica, and I totally understand why she left him. But I also felt like the fact she basically hopped back into bed with him immediately kind of counter productive. I dunno, I felt like he had to earn it before she gave herself again, even though she found the perfect excuse to do so (i.e: revenge. I don't think even she believed her "reasons"...)

Reading this straight after the first was a bit too much. I had to skim some of the sexy scenes because there was simply so much of them, and on the heels of the first novel, it was overwhelming. I think I shall attempt to read one novel per month, that way I could enjoy it.

But these two were definitely scorching.
