While the reviews of this book were on the whole positive, there was just something about this book that didn't entirely appeal. Nevertheless I started it and after breaking through the repetative paragraphs hinting at Callie's dodgy past but without any details, I absolutely fell in love with it.
Realistically nothing happens. But the depth of the emotion and such was just intoxicating. I couldn't put the bloody thing down.
Then all of a sudden BOOOOOOM soul destroying ending.

The best books are the ones that hit you hard regardless of the intricacy of their plots or characters and this one did just that!

Not a bad book for my first real New Adult (I think Abbi Glines is supposed to be NA too, but I never went into them thinking "I'm reading NA.")

A few eye roll moments and conveniently placed scenes, but sort of addictive too.

Looking forward to reading the rest of them.

Después de medio mes pausando este libro... Lo dejo, no tengo por qué torturarme. Los protagonistas son estúpidamente infantiles y drama-queens. No vale la pena.

The only thing I can say about this book.. Is it was amazing, fantastic, heart wrenching, great, tear jerking and just simply wonderful. Callie and Kayden come together and creat this unbreakable bond with each. They find themselves in each other. This book- it has touched me in a way no other has. It will forever stay with me and I cannot explain why. I do not have personal connection to the subject matter written so I can only attribute how touching this book me was to the authors writing. Jessica Sorensen just pulled me in with her words and still hasn't let go. The ending... Made me scream and tell and cry for the next book!! (All good.. I promise)

Holy cliffhanger!!! I want more!!! I can't believe it just ended like that! I love Callie and Kayden, but I need more. I kept flipping pages not thinking it could really be over. I liked the story a lot. Such a painful life these kids have led, and to have one another to lean on and overcome what they did was amazing. All the characters were great and I couldn't love them more. Although I thought the book was a little too short and I can't stand the cliffhanger ending, I can't wait for next book!
