Incredibly depressing and boring. I can hardly even be bothered to feel annoyed about the content. Just a story about a woman who chooses the wrong friends in life and some guy who has very weird ideas about what people’s lives looked like during the “stone ages”.
Glad Keiko found her purpose in the end.

I definitely enjoyed this. I quick, easy read that made me feel a way that I don’t know how to write. In the end I was perhaps a bit uneasy. Leave folks alone?

Keiko is so cute and endearing the way she lives and breathes for the convenience store

Haunting book about society’s expectations of women, neurodivergence, and the Japanese convenience store. Devoured it in one sitting. Strongly recommended.

The first third of this book would have been a 5 star for me, unfortunately the mid-section really ruined it.
