The first 1/4 of this book, I was convinced it was a sequel and entirely confused. As I settled in, it got...better? I guess? I was fairly interested in the mystery, but the ending was lackluster for me.

This was a tough read for me as it is not my usual genre, but at least I gave it a go! Did I enjoy it? Not really. Was it a good book? Yes, it was an amazing book, but just not what I would call a page turner for me. However I did find the characters fascinating and the ending was quite a shock that I didn't see coming!
