A book this good deserves a better ending. Song of Achilles is as good as Circe, but abandones the retelling for the classic Greek myth at the end. It left me hollow.

A steadily paced book that was easy to put down and come back to, but once you got into the find act, you needed to keep reading. Each chapter was a story in Patroclus and Achilles life. I really enjoyed it.

Adored this. First time reading anything involving a gay love story (a strange realization) and enjoyed the lack of stereotype or expectation. Bonus of learning a lot about Greek mythology! Highly recommend.

This started slow, and I was tempted to give up at one point, but I then got so, so invested in the characters and their relationship and I ended up absolutely sobbing at the end. I've read quite a few re-tellings of myths and this, along with Circe, are by far my favourites.

No se acerca a la maravilla que es Circe. Me aburrió, sin más.
