I tandem read this one, listening to the audiobook and reading it physically and honestly recommend both mediums. The book is centred around and Irish FMC, so the audio book has an Irish narrator/accent and it was very enjoyable!

Rachel is telling us her own story, looking back from where she is now, married and pregnant living in London to her post university years in Cork and her friendship with James and, well all the stuff that happens round that. No spoilers here apart from to say that Dr Bryne is a spineless man who I wanted to burn to the ground.
Rachel is young and basically lurching from one problem, worry, issue to another. She makes some terrible decisions but for the most part I found them completely understandable. I liked her even though I had my head in her hands as she fucked things up.
This book totally kept me engaged and I zipped through it in about 3 days. It was easy to read, the story flowed and kept me engaged and the ending was mostly satisfying.
Solid 4 stars for this one.
Content Warning: Abortion, miscarriage, cheating.
