If I can, I wouldn't rate the manga at all. YLiA is, for me, above rating.

I'm not a fan of the Nagi Aizato storyline. It feels like filler to me. However, the Tsubaki moments in the first part of the book were heartbreaking. Kousei's date with Kaori was also a bittersweet highlight to this volume. Overall, a solid volume. The cliffhanger at the end is disturbing, however. Suicide is a topic of which I carry a lot of personal baggage, so it's introduction into this story caught me off guard, even though I've already watched the anime.

As Kaori's health deteriorates, Kousei tries his hand at teaching a younger piano student.
