Abby looks like she has it all the perfect home family and life, but everything isn't as it seems. Abby has only 2 people who she can trust with her life, yet as soon as some new students come strolling into her school, she soon sees that she can only truly count on herself. Abby is so damn strong, fierce, and a lot smarter than a lot of people give her credit for. Her father looks like he is an amazing father who loves his children. That is only for appearance sake behind closed doors he an sick evil man who will do anything to get what he wants. Abby will have to play a whole new game now just to keep her head above water as well as to keep breathing.

I don’t know what I just read but I want more. Holy wow talk about intense!!!! I don’t know where to begin. Abby met Camden on a night that she was very vulnerable and a strong attraction was there. He was very sweet to her and things happened. Names weren’t exchanged and she disappeared. Fast forward 3 months when they see each other again and realize that they are enemies because of their parents past. Abby lives in a world that everything is controlled. She’s considered an elite but she’s no one’s doormat. As much as she was put to the test several times she was a tough cookie. Camden was a bully and Abby’s fiancée was a monster. They are secrets and lots of angst moments and they are moments where you want to pull your hair out and moments that the cruelty is so bad that you despise Abby’s twin and in that moment Camden earns some brownie points. The cliffhanger was oh damn wow!!!! The secrets revealed left me in shock and I don’t know who Abby can trust anymore.

Wow...just WOW!!!! This book totally sucks you in from the very first page. The chemistry between Cam and Abby is intense and I literally loved every second of this book. Siobhan is a master mind of epic proportions and I cannot wait to continue this series!

Suspenseful and creative! I loved this story. This was my first read by Siobhan Davis, but it definitely won't be my last. I have completely hooked on Bully romances so when I saw this, I knew I had to read it. This was so much more than that though. I don't want to go into the story because you definitely need to read it for yourself. I will just say I absolutely loved this story and I can't wait for the next!

This book was not at all what I was expecting. There were moments that it seemed so outlandish that I found myself shaking my head but it wasn't enough to get me to stop reading. There were so many secrets. The beginning made me think that this was going to be cheesy. However, as the story continued I was addicted. It was as if the words were crack and I was the latest drug fend.

Ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger. I'm eagerly awaiting the next part.

Really good start

Really good start to this series. It grabs you right from the beginning. I do wish it had a dual POV but appreciated the bonus Novella from Cams POV.
A by was a strong feisty character and it has been enjoyable watching her stand up and fight back. I will hold my full review until the end of the trilogy because I think there's a lot more to come!

⭐️ 5 "Elite" Stars ⭐️
Cruel Intentions had been on my radar since its release a few weeks back and I just couldn’t resist the pull of the bully / enemies-to-lovers tropes. Siobhan Davis had me transfixed with this first novel in the Rydeville High Elite Series bleeding with so much angst. It’s set in high school, but don’t let it fool you because this story is bursting with violence, depravity, sexy encounters and a whole lot of secrets. It’s certainly not for everyone so beware!

“How is it I crave the thing I hate most?” he whispers, his mouth moving to my jaw. “How do you do that? Make me want you when I despise you?” “If you discover the answer, please enlighten me,” I rasp, keeping my eyes shut."

Abigail is an untouchable figure at Rydeville High and when Camden arrives in town, he challenges her elite status at every turn. She asserts her authority with cruel actions and doesn’t take easily to Cam and his boys trying to take control of the school. While she can be truly malicious, it’s a front she plays so well! Behind the mask hides a girl barely surviving the nasty world of wealth and corruption she lives in. She’s just biding her time until she can escape her situation! I enjoyed her complexity where we see is a true badass heroine, but also the soft and despaired girl trying to stay afloat! My heart hurt for her and the puppet role she occupies in her father’s wicked plans!

What can I say about Camden? He’s the epitome of bad boy! He’s on a revenge path and his target is Abby. He doesn’t miss a chance to defy her power at school and gain his own influence. Under all this animosity and bully persona though, he hides a severe attraction to the young woman. I loved his hot and cold behavior where it’s clear the he can’t completely hate Abby.

"This kiss is the Rolls Royce of kisses. It’s a claiming. A branding. An invasion. A promise. An attack. A challenge. A punishment. A reward. And a hundred other things."

Their interactions are all about the push and pull. They’re intensely hot and this couple is fire! Each scene they share had me hyperventilating from the passion they ooze. They not only share a physical bond, but their feelings get involve too and it’s charming yet heartbreaking to observe.

There isn’t a single second of this book I didn’t utterly enjoyed. I was completely riveted by this obscure universe. It’s so intense and the plotline is so gripping, always new elements added to make you question everything and everyone. The last few pages completely stunned me with all the revelations I wasn’t expecting. So much is unveiled, but at the same time, so little.

"Your strength and your fighting spirit are the sexiest things about you. I loved it every time you fought me.”

I’m dying for the next installment, Twisted Betrayals, after these little bombshells. Siobhan Davis’s beautiful prose and alluring main couple made this read addictive and unputdownable. The secondary characters are so appealing and made this read even more pleasing too. If you’re in need of a darker and tantalizing read, try Cruel Intentions!!

A vagina monologue by Abigail Hearst-Manning

I've written, deleted, and rewritten this review a few times now, because, man, I have some issues with this book! And before I rant, I do have to say that I liked it, partially at least, but some things just started not sitting well with me after I thought it through a bit more. So, here's a short rant. Possible mild spoilers ahead..?

My main issue with Cruel Intentions was that those cruel intentions seemed to be solely aimed at Abby's reproductive organs. Abby's vajayjay was either the precious flower that business deals were hashed over, or the sexy lady taco that made boys' boners pop up left and right, or the death valley of ruined dreams that got her nearly beaten to death, or the handle to grab in order to control her assets and her entire future. In short, this book was about Abby's vagina, and how everyone seemed to care about what she did with it.

It makes me very sad and a lot tired to read yet another book in which women are controlled by men via horribly outdated ideals and ideas. There are dozens of other ways to manipulate someone or make a person's life difficult without resorting to bodily harm or rapey stuff. And we really shouldn't be writing and reading books about men controlling women by their vaginas anymore, eh? Oh and
SpoilerI really dislike accidental babies in books, especially when the baby is used as a pawn against the woman, or when the whole "keeping the baby even when it's an accident" story is used to promote pointless anti-choice bullshit. Also, it might just be me, but I don't think that babies are exciting reading material in romance books.

This book gets recommended quite a lot so even though I'd been putting it off awhile I finally decided I would try it... I did but I'm going to DNF it. This is just so over the top I just can't (I read some really over the top books). Another serious downside is I don't think there is a likable character in the book. They are all just horrible people that do horrible things because they can. Those two things are the reason I'm not going to continue on. I just can not connect with any of the characters and my suspension of disbelief couldn't suspend enough.

There is a lot of cheating and it's pretty rapey with slut-shaming used liberally. I know it's labeled as a dark bully but it lacked a content warning so I thought I would just put it out there.
