Their story begins like a modern day Romeo and Juliet with plenty of twists. Instead of suicide, homicide and betrayal lead to the demise of their young relationship. Fast forward seventeen years, when Dawson "D" stumbles upon his previously thought dead ex. The connection between them is as strong as ever and, even though she should probably run, Piper can't bring herself to even try to hide from the hurt that she's anticipating.

It's gripping and dark! There were also some incredibly sweet and tender moments that made my heart soar, along with plenty of naughtiness that had my toes curling.

As expected, there were check-ins with the other Rebel Ink inhabitants and their loved ones.

Wow.
I can't believe that was the last Rebel Ink book. It's bittersweet, really.

These guys and their boss chicks have found a way into my heart and I'm sad to let them go. Knowing that Emmie has a book coming lifts my spirits a bit.

When I first read the blurb for this book I knew it was one that would hook me straight away - and I wasn't wrong.
Dawson and Piper were an amazing read.

From revenge, to real, to the end.... it was worth the late night (and resulting little sleep I got).
Their story was painful, realistic, scary, romantic, steamy and just... SO. GOOD!

I hope we get to see some more of this group somewhere along the way.

Star crossed lovers, child with another woman so quick after a break up, brought back together in the most unexpected ways............ this book is filled with so many of my reading interests it was a no brainer to dive into.

This is Lorraine at her best! The drive of revenge woth the vulnerability if loving the one who got away kept me on my toes through the whole book! While I love the rebel ink guys, but Dawson has secretly been my fave. I'm glad Tracy made sure his heroine was worthy of him.

2nd chance at love

Young and in love...and then tragic and broken is where their story ended at the age of 18. Then, 17 years later, Piper magically appears seemingly from the dead.
What starts as a plot of revenge, Dawson quickly get sucked back under. He thought he could use and discard her without a second thought. However, fate laughed in his face.

Piper knew she should be cautious; to guard her heart. But, once she gets around Dawson, she is reminded why she fell in love with him 17 years ago. Then she finds out his revenge plan.

Dawson and Piper's chemistry is red freakin' hot. And their love for each other, even through all the lies and deceit, survives the years and trials.

Sad that the Rebel Ink series has come to an end. Love each of the books! But excited to read Emmie's story.

Just when I think I have gotten my fill of the wicked tattoo artists, she comes back with more deliciousness! These Rebel Ink men are tattooed on my heart.

Play You was an incredible story of a second chance romance. These characters, Piper and Dawson, have had a tragic past and have completely lost touch with each other. When they come back into each other’s lives it’s like worlds collide, with all these emotions and feeling rushing back. You are constant on edge hoping neither Piper or Dawson get hurt, physically and emotionally. Dawson and Piper were steamy, whew! They can make your temperature rise. This was a strong book. It shows love can be more powerful and mean more than family.

This was such a great book to finish out this series! If you haven’t read this book yet, definitely do so! If you haven’t started this series, go start it, these characters will make you swoon! I’m definitely looking forward to where Tracy is gonna go next, I don’t think we have seen the last of these tattoo artists.

Play you is the forth and final book in Tracy Lorraine‘s Rebel Ink series.

And she ended it with a bang. We‘ve all been waiting for D‘s story and I honestly didn‘t expect it to be this tragic!

Play you starts a few weeks after Emmie D‘s daughter moves in with him. After years of not having alot of say in his daughters upbringing he just wants the best for her even if he makes a few mistakes along the line.
Entering Piper Hill. She‘s a counselor/teacher at Emmie‘s new school but when she sees her new student and her father her world comes crashing down hard. Because Piper and Dawson share a past and it‘s not a good one.

I enjoyed Dawson and Piper‘s story alot. From the first page you could already see their love for eachother and their passion was just off the charts.

I can‘t wait to get a possible spin off with Dawsons daughter.
