I did not know where this book was going to go or what would happen. It was a pretty wild ride. One thing that bothered me a little was how overbearing the MC was to her brother the whole book was a lot. I loved getting to know the characters more. It's a little bit slower paced as well, but seeing that this is a lengthy series I'm not surprised.

That ending was pretty crazy, some of it gave a little bit of an ick, but it's not going to stop my overall enjoyment of the book.

Over all I did like it and am curious where things are going from here.

Dude, this one was even better than the first. But things get DARK, so just be aware. This is not for the faint of heart who have to see the happily ever after at the end.
But it was so good. Fortuna is a great character and I love how we see her flaws and strengths play out in terrible ways.
Can't wait for the next one, I will definitely be continuing the series as it comes out!

Another great book in the Fortuna sworn series! Whilst this was much darker then book 1 I love how we are getting to know all the characters better. Fortuna is a great FMC and is so strong willed but you really feel how her limits are being pushed in this book! Can’t wait to read book 3 ✨✨✨✨.✨
