There were really only a few options as to who fell from the thousandth floor: Avery, Leda, Eris, or Rylin. Towards the end of the book, I had two top contenders for the title of pavement splatter. But ultimately, there was a twist and I was wrong.

I first saw this book while shopping at Target for a 14-year-old foster child who listed "fiction book" in her wishlist. I didn't get her this, but got her the Peculiar Children one instead, since the movie just came out and it looked less scandalous. I, however, wanted this. So I got the audiobook.

And I listened to it during work, while knitting, before bed, while showering, and while getting ready for work. It is truly gripping, in a Gossip Girl / Pretty Little Liars sort of way. If you're into those shows, you'll like this. If not, try it anyway. Everyone has secrets, they all run in the same small circle, even though there are millions of people living in the tower, everyone schemes, and everything comes to a head in the end.

I can't wait for the sequel.

This was an addictive YA novel, that I thought was a perfect audio book. Can't wait for the next one!

Super problematic in many, many ways. Racial stereotypes, abusive relationships, cheating, "kill your gays" trope, possible date rape, girl hate, incest, drugs, etc, etc, etc. Don't waste your time.

I preordered this book because through word of mouth I heard it was a written, more enhanced, comparison to Gossip Girl. I loved that show (Chuck Bass = swoon) and I was sold!

I was NOT disappointed; with secrets buried so deep it takes over your life, hierarchy issues, drama to the max and cool futuristic vibe this book was pretty good.

I loved the multiple point of views and getting to know each character was smooth. The switch between pov didn't hinder the plot or the execution. Well written and delivered.

If there was one thing I learned from watching GG was that whoever was on the top didn't stay there for long. I look forward to book 2 so I can see just how they fall.

This is wonderfully entertaining fluff. Like Gossip Girl set in the future. I enjoyed it so much I immediately bought and read the next one too.

Fans of Gossip Girl/Big Little Lies looking for their next read - this is for you! This book had me hooked from the start and had me guessing the entire read. I can't wait to read the second book in this trilogy. Loved these characters and the world McGee created!

It isn't often I read this type of book, but I saw the cover and it just captivated me, and then I read what the book was about and then I decided I want to try to read it. It was the best decision I have made in sometime.

Something I didn't like about the book is that it shift between point of view, I have never liked that, but it was better than some of the other books I have read where you have a lot of point of view. In this book it is clearly which point of view it is.
