This beautiful love story left me in tears towards the end and a smile on the last page. I would have never guessed that Luce would be an angel and that she once loved Lucifer. I had always thought that Daniel and Luce were meant for each other from the very beginning, but the fact that I was wrong made the book even more beautiful. I loved the ending when both Luce and Daniel chose love over Heaven or Hell because they meant so much to each other. Then they met again and didn't remember each other and it made me cry because for the first three books, we have made an emotional connection with Luce's and Daniel's love. It was so lovely and I agree that mortal love is most beautiful. Another thing to add to the already beautiful love story of Lucinda and Daniel, angels that will forever find each other again and again and again until Lucinda can find herself. A lovely love story that every teenager should read again and again and again. 5 stars for the magnificent Lauren Kate.

This was such a good book and everything came together so well at the end. Some chapters were harder to get through than others and there were a few I had to reread but all and all it was so good. At first I was a little disappointed when we finally find out who Luce really is because I felt like it wasn’t THAT big of a thing. I had started to suspect but I had 2 ideas of who she could really be in the bigger picture. But once she finally remembered everything and not just who she was everything made more sense as to why she was so important in all of it. It was definitely a direction I never saw coming but what cam and Daniel argued about in the first book about knowing what she would choose now makes sense. I was a little upset her friends from school weren’t in this one as much but I loved the ending they had. This had a very bittersweet ending. Everything ended happy but at the same time it was a little sad because of the “consequences” of their final decision.

I'll admit, as I read the first three books in the series ... I got a little burned out with the story. I had to put the series on hold for a bit and read some other, non-angel type books. I did, and figured I'd come back to this while the story and characters were still pretty fresh in my minds.

I don't love this series. It was a little hard for me to get through, but I did want a conclusion, and some questions answered. This book did that.

I really struggle reading religious books. Not that this was spiritual in anyway, just all the talk of angels. Of God, of Lucifer. Of relics and ancient cities. Just not my favorite topic and I had to push through. That said, I do think I actually enjoyed this book a little more, maybe it was knowing that things were coming to an end. The end wasn't exactly a surprise, there had been hints and foreshadowing.

So anyway ... I'm done.

It was a good way to end the series. i enjoyed the twist of her being an angel and having her first love be Lucifer, which blew my mind! Good ending, surprised that they referred to God as she, well played.

Fallen in love was not that good, the best part (besides maybe Roland's story) was the Rapture preview which made me excited to read it.
So I hope she ends the series well, the cover looks gorgeous though so I guess thats good enough reason to pick the book up as well XD

I liked this book! I thought it was a great ending to the Fallen series and I even ended up liking Luce who I found really annoying in Passion. I didn't really have any expectations for this book so I just sat there and read, it took me a while though and when it started off I was like "meh" but then it got much better.
I loved the ending, I thought Lauren Kate wrapped the story up nicely. I'll be honest and say that I surprise easily and the biggest answer I wanted was Luce's curse and the reason behind it came as a shock. Oh, and
Spoiler Luce is a fallen angel too
Wha?? This I didn't see coming, but ended up liking that plot twist. And then
Spoiler They had to become mortals because of they love each other so much etc, I expected them to live happily ever after in Heaven
and I thought "gahhhh! why??" but then I came around because of that last chapter.

So 4/5 stars for Rapture because I actually enjoyed it and it made me like Lauren Kate the way I used to before she wrote the horrible Fallen in love

Rapture is the fourth and final instalment for the Fallen series by Lauren Kate and one that I’ve been anticipating since finishing Passion. Luce has just returned from her time-travelling tour of her past lives and now only has nine days to prevent the fall and cause all those years, all those past lives with Daniel, to be written.
In order to stop Lucifer (otherwise known as Bill the Gargoyle) and his announcer to finish falling and rewriting time, Luce, Daniel and the rest of the fallen angel gang have to find three artefacts that when brought together will somehow show the destination of the Fall and help them prevent it from re-happening.

There were times when I loved reading this book and other times when I wanted to throw the book across the room. It’s definitely one of those books where you have to be in a certain mood to appreciate all that’s happening. The romance was sweet – at times too sweet. I felt like I was going to get a sugar high so sweet it was bordering on a toothache. Luce and Daniel are an adorable and loving couple that are lovely and romantic but at the same time sometimes I felt like it was over the top and just too cute and too much for me to take.

The plot sometimes felt a little confusing as to why each of the characters did the things that they did – They have only a few days to save the world and yet instead of thinking things out and approaching things logically they rush in and do things that end up with them being in dangerous life-threatening situations. There were many things that were a little too coincidental and/or convenient happening a lot of the time.

I think these fallen angels could have benefitted from a google search or two when trying to track down the artefacts – instead they rely on a book written by one of them a few hundred of years ago. Then they take the most vulnerable and fragile member of the group – who also is the most important and valuable person in the entire series – and put her in dangerous situations without taking proper precautions… The whole thing just felt a little unbelievable and frustrated me with how unprepared everyone was.

I did, however, love the ending. This is what the entire series had been building up to and despite some things getting on my nerves, I adored how everything came to a head in this novel. Overall this is a beautiful story of true love and angels. I’d love to read a spin-off series if the author ever decides to write one about Cam’s story.
If you enjoyed the previous stories in the series then I definitely recommend Rapture. It’s a fantastic way to leave Daniel and Luce and they definitely deserve the ending that they get.

I can't believe I stuck this series out for this ending.
