Only adding a 2nd star because this may have been marginally better had I read books 1-7 but I can't imagine it would've been that much better.

Perfectly fine Christmas read.  It probably would’ve had more of an impact if I had read the rest of the books in the series.

Thank you to Net Galley for the advanced copy of this book. I love RaeAnne Thayne books and I loved the Hope's Crossing series so I was so glad that this book is new to the series. This book did not disappoint! When reading this book you basically get two stories in one that ties up some loose ends for a couple of characters from the first part of the series. This book gets interesting as it embraces the difficutlies of being handicapped and how more people are becoming aware and it is being brought to the forefront after far too long the challenges these people have to deal with in their everyday life. The two main women characters in this book have both had adversities that they have dealt with in their lives and have been able to become stronger women for it. The two main male characters also have adversities both physical and emotional to get past. This is a great read which I devoured in no time at all. A great holiday story with everything you are looking for in a holiday romance!!
