This definitely didn't go the way I had expected it to, but I think it ended the way it should have. <3

You get more of the husbands perspective in this one as he tries to repair the damage done to his marriage. It is not an easy read and I can see why there are higher ratings but it felt like a few conversations could have saved a 3whole lot of pain. I know that this is one way that relationships are decimated and it can take a hard slap to wake the parties up, but dang.
I was slightly surprised by the ending but not really. Good story but not as good as I'd hoped it would be.

Emotional roller coaster

This book took me on an emotional roller coaster that was so up and down I couldn’t wait to get off but now I want to ride again! The second book in the what he doesn’t know duet delivered a satisfying ending. Kandi knows how to write and engage the reader in all the feels! Great book. I loved all the parts. Looking forward to the next book from this super talented writer.

What He Always Knew continues of off where the first book ends. If you’ve read (SPOILER) What He Doesn’t Know then you’ll know that Cameron asks for one last chance and asks for two months to change her mind. That’s what almost majority of the second book is about. Almost being the key word here.

Just as the first book, the second book promises and delivers an emotional punch. It was phenomenal. I loved it. While, I was a bit confused from the last half of the first book which team I was in, going into the second book I knew crystal clear whom I wanted Charlie to choose.

While most might not agree, I really loved how the book ended even though a part of my heart did break. Kandi Steiner did an amazing job with the conclusion, not to mention how effortlessly she pulled off the duet. It. Was. Perfect.

There really is nothing to say other than that you HAVE TO READ the What He Doesn’t Know duet.

What an amazing conclusion to this story. I don’t think I’ve ever cried harder. It was heartbreaking, stunning, and beautiful. I think what really got was the redemption of it all. How if you really love someone and are committed to them, you’ll do anything for them. We all have trials and betrayal. How we respond in the end, says everything. This duo is definitely a new favorite.

This entire series kept me guessing WHAT THE HELL IS SHE GOING TO DO. I kept changing my mind but in the end the choice she made was absolutely the best one. Not even going to bother reading the last book as there is an age gap angle that seems weird to me.

'WHAT HE ALWAYS KNEW' is the final book in the 'What He Doesn't Know' duet and what an ending.

As another review mentioned, this is a story about choices. It is an emotional read of love, choices and the impact choices can have. It's messy, frustrating, heart-felt, hard to read (at times) and yet thought provoking.

I had my favourite at the start... but by the end of the book I was unsure of who I was really cheering for. I was so caught up in the love triangle and the ups and downs of both loves that I quickly found myself attached to both men and I didn't want to read the heartbreak that would ultimately come with the final choice... I haven't been so nervous for an ending as I was through this, I second guessed it all, but in the end the choices were made and although the journey was a messy & emotional adventure, it was beautiful.

“It’s you,” I said. “It always has been, it always will be, and from this moment on, I will choose you. Every day, every minute, every second of my life.”
