Action packed, emotional, and kept you on your toes. You never knew who could Jack could trust through out the book. Every character played and important role and it was clear what their roles were. The writing was clear and the story was easy to follow. A must read if you are a James Patterson fan!

2...So disappointed! Two books ago we had a missing princess...now a princess's friend is missing. Last book was a suspicious suicide...why are these storylines in THIS novel...I couldn't even get into this novel!!!!

This is another exciting installment in the Private series. This time, Jack is in London, trying to find a friend of the princess. While there was a lot of excitement, there was also a lot of violence, which I think is excessive at times. There are a few shocks, including people who die.

Another basic, kind of interesting Private mystery 3*

I have a love-hate relationship with this series. I honestly do. I love Jack Morgan but I swear some days he is an absolute idiot. He is a red blooded guy… the amount of times he falls in love is insane. Is it really love if he does this in nearly every Private-centric mystery. He always gets his heart broken. He's like the Sam Winchester of the mystery business. Let's just say if you slept with him, it's kind of like writing your own death wish.

This entry in the series was okay. It was definitely better than that Bookshot of Private Royals. The plot was interesting but it could have been developed much further. The mystery finished at 50% - which I was disappointed in.The last 50% of the book didn't interest me as much because it was predictable. As this is the fourteenth book, I know this character seriously well so Patterson can rarely surprise me with Jack Morgan.

I was actually kinda glad that this was from the POV of Jack Morgan and not Knight's, which is common in a Private London novel, as he is sort of boring. No offence, Knight.

Yeah okay but could have done better.

It was OK - like any other James Patterson book, it's a fast read, but it is predictable.

The first half was kinda boring, the interesting part was when it moved away from the Princess's missing friend and the father committed suicide or not case, the title kinda made no sense as the focus was on the London team going up against an old enemy.

Surprisingly not one of the better "private" series books, but still entertaining.
