He is as much a part of me as the sun is a part of the sky, as the Earth is to the universe.

when i saw that this book was almost twice as long as the previous two, i got nervous bc sometimes authors ruin their own books with too much ambition and filler. however, this one did not disappoint.

lily and lo reunite after his stint in rehab, but can she handle her greatest temptation?

i loved watching them overcoming obstacles together, and i think the ritchie sisters handled writing addiction and the therapy around it with tact and sensitivity. i'm rooting for these two so hard and even with their challenges this book, i'm seeing them hit couple goals status and i love it 🥰 (
the comic store/coffeeshop?? OMG SO CUTE
). their growth as individuals and as a couple is everything and i can't wait to see them continue this journey.

“Sometimes the person we think we’ll become is the person we already are, and the person we truly become is the person we least expect.”

connor and rose are just the best in this as well. connor again stealing scenes with his witty quips, but also seeing him break down rose's walls is so satisfying and romantic. rose is such a supportive, amazing sister to lily in this book, we love to see book sisters like this 🩵 i'm also getting really excited for daisy and ryke's story!

while this book had me STRESSING for them, on the edge of my seat, sometimes ready to FIGHT (dr. evan it's on SIGHT), it was such a satisfying roller coaster. this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

She is my past, my present, my future. So when I open the door and slide into the driver’s seat, I’m not surprised that it feels like I’m returning home.

I loved this book so much. The two perspectives of Lily and Lo really add to the story as we are able to delve deeper into their own individual stories, issues and struggles that they face and overcome throughout the book. The dynamic of the 6 main characters are amazing and i love how they all have a bigger role in the story. This is truely a found family series and i loved how they can support and lean on one another throughout the story and events that unfold. I was shocked when I found out who the leak was and I truely feel sorry for them. But I loved the ending of the story and how they were able to make amends and push through even after all the stuff that they had to go through.

The more I read this series and the more I get attached to all the characters from the series. Seeing Lily and Lauren put so much effort into being better for each other, and for themselves. Seeing them battle their addiction, seeing them open to other people and seeing the positive outcome of Lauren being sober and Lily not consuming abusively sexe has brought into their lives is a beautiful thing to see.

I understand that addicts lie, and I understand that their friends and family have to be borderline rude and apply tough love and not fumble to support them and push them into getting better and wanting to get better, but the way Lau and Ryke made a bet on Lily was so demeaning. And they have been very demeaning toward Lily a lot of time, even more, in the past two books, and it's quite annoying and frustrating. Especially Ryke. He is better in this book, and he now treats Lily better, and I understand that he did that because he was protective of Lauren, but you can be protective and not be a complete piece of shit and a complete asshole toward someone who is also struggling.

The relationship between Ryke and Daisy really rob me the wrong way. I know that she is been physically described as having a really grown body but as a quote-on-quote legal adult of 21 years old, all the flirting and sexual undertone between Ryke and Daisy should have never happened. The author could have perfectly made a friend-to-lover relationship between Ryke and Daisy without all of that. An age gap of 5 years is completely fine when there is no minor involved. And yeah Lauren reprimanded Ryke and he is now only friends with Daisy, and nothing will probably happen until she is legally an adult, but all of that was very borderline and uncalled for, in my opinion. They could have had a cute simple friendship without all of that flirtation and sexually related anything.

Connor and Rose are so cute. I love them, nothing bad to say about their relationship.  But all the scenes where they are arguing and the rest of the group are simply watching always get me like 🧍🏿‍♀️🧍🏿🧍🏿‍♂️.
