It was fine. I'm not a fan of Tiel, and I still hate the way Sam treats Shannon.

This book was easily my favorite of the series. I've decided to do a full series review because I can't stop reading to write a review for each book right now. I'm too addicted to this world! Lol

this is probably my least favourite book of the series. mainly because i probably identify too much with sam and tiel and their neuroses.

their story is beautiful and so is sam and tiel's journey to healing their broken pieces.

I don't think this was the book for me; I didn't care one iota for these characters in previous books, and I still don't care for them after a whole book spent in their heads.  Both Tiel and Sam handle their respective family relationships and other important aspects of their lives exceptionally poorly and in ways I don't find remotely sympathetic, and I found it hard to respect their choices and the way they often treated each other throughout the course of the book.

I think this book was very well written and I expect many other readers will find a lot to love here (everything I had a problem with was quite possibly just a 'me' problem), but Sam and Tiel were simply not characters with whom I enjoyed spending my time.

Meh with a side of Meh.

Necessary Restoration is just another hot man cover that has disappointed me. Those abs man. Those beautiful abs.. and this book was just meh. Again, I really have no idea how I even got through these books so far. Maybe it was the wine.. or maybe it was a bit better than the crap I was dealing with while at work. Who knows - I sure don't.

In this, you will meet Sam and Tiel. I know you revisit with them, and everyone else, in a different book in this series. They were just okay for me.. nothing really special. The romance was okay.. but so freaking slow. I pretty much hate slow burns now. I think the smut has been ruined for me as well.

Overall, I feel like each book within this series disappoints me a little bit more while getting closer to the finish line. I hope the last book will be better than them all.
