I’m figuring out I’m a sucker for the characters in the SPC universe. They all have a special place in my “heart”. I appreciate the surface skimming of mental health aspects in this book. Is the step-sibling love kinda weird? Mmm yeah…but maybe because I had way older step brothers as well and it was difficult to envision this scenario playing out IRL for me. BUT I’m not yucking anyone’s yum. The smut was still hot, the club was still sinful and amazing, I’m still in love with Eden, and I’m still reading the next in the series.

Age-gap. Stepsiblings. Voyeurism. Things that on the surface I would not immediately consider "my thing," but in a Sara Cate book are like freaking catnip. Garrett, poor Garrett, tries so hard to shoulder his struggles without help while also falling for his younger stepsister in Mia. Mia in unabashedly sexual and proud of it. And the two of them together are a raw passion that leaps off the page. The SPC books and universe have a hold on me and I am happy to follow its' lead.

Hot damn 🥵
I really really enjoyed this book! This is exactly what I needed to get me out of a slump. I devoured this book and will definitely continue the series as well as read more by Sara Cate!

”You’re gonna pay for that, Kitten.”
“Now purr for me.”
Ughh I REALLY wanted to love this one as much as Praise but it fell short.

4.25
The book was good no complain but the reason is not above 4.25 is because there where many parts that could been better. It felt missing the story and the plot where good but the character developement where some what lacking. Other then that it was a good book if you don’t mind the little bit of age gap and NOT blood related step sibling story then go ahead and have fun
