Not going to lie, I started this series to keep me occupied while I was waiting for Madness to come out and ended up plowing through this series like I was on crack. I don't particularly care for mafia tropes, but I liked how this book was just the opening for the Kings to come into play. It provided a good backdrop for the rest of the series to take place while offering several characters to work with. Though this series isn't on my 'to buy' list, I will likely reread it and put it in the 'comfort series' section.

Shantel Tessier has become one of my favorite authors for mafia enemies to lovers arranged marriage romance, this book was phenomenal. This is the story of Luca and Haven, you get great characters, amazing plot story, the mafia topic you love and all the angst you need for a book you will not be able to put down. Suspense, action, steamy scenes and just a great dark edgy plot, with a badass sexy antihero you will fall in love with. A must read!
