I absolutely loved this story! The physical juxtaposition between a huge football player and a petite ballerina, as well as how different their personalities seemed, leads the reader to think this is an opposite-attracts story. But as you dive deeper into the characters, you learn how much they actually have in common.
There is a little time hopping that happens, and since I read Decker first, I really enjoyed some of the scene overlapping from book 1. Dash can be read on its own, however, and those overlapping scenes will not be disruptive.
Dash experiences a huge character arc from beginning to end without sacrificing his entire personality. I appreciated that! I also LOVED that this story gives the characters permission to follow their dreams, even when their dreams change. I feel like too many stories focus all the attention on characters staying true to what they want from the beginning, but Dash felt more relatable to me because the characters realize that dreams can change and that's ok and sometimes the right decision. (Don't want to give away too much here.) There is a surprise baby in this story and Charlotte's pregnancy experience was INCREDIBLY relatable to me (having had 2 kids myself).
I love when a fictional story still pulls in highly relatable content! It always help me connect better.
I listened to the audiobook and really loved the performances by Connor Crais and Emma Wilder. Duet style narration is always my favorite because it makes it feel so much more real. They had me laughing, tearing up, and audibly saying "awwwwww" with little hearts in my eyes. Highly recommend!

Over confident jock with no depth and a 105 lb ballerina… is just not interesting

Not gonna lie, I was worried I wouldn’t like Dash, but he ended up being so sweet and ridiculously sexy. And then you have Charlie who is so strong and real and likable.
I really loved the banter between Dash and Charlie. As always, the text messages between the characters is the best.
~I was given this book and made no commitments to leave my opinions, favorable or otherwise~

Dash is the adorable second book in the super fun and steamy Boston Tomcat series. I say adorable because Dash was pretty darn adorable, but he was an overinflated football at first. Arrogant, kind of mean, bad attitude; well, that gets him in trouble and sent him to ballet classes with Charlotte. Charlotte or Charlie is tough, you have to be tough to be a ballerina. It is a tough art; it requires as much as, if not more, self-discipline and focus on maintaining a professional ballerina's body and practice schedule as a professional athlete. Dash quickly realizes this and admires Charlie for her skills as a dancer and her beauty and personality. Their story is filled with romance from Dash (

I’m a huge fan of Kayley and Connor individually, but there’s something magical that happens when they collectively create something and this series is one of those things.
I’m generally not a fan of the accidental pregnancy/surprise baby trope because it can be triggering to me when unexpected. I appreciate when authors let us know ahead of time and it was in the description, so I was prepared.
There’s a good amount of time (2+ years) for the MC’s relationship to grow prior to the surprise baby happening and I really like how it all progressed. In fact the pregnancy doesn’t happen until we’ll into the book. It’s really well done.
I loved these characters. Dash is a big ole cinnamon roll. And I do mean big. At 6’5, 285 pounds, he’s the Defensive End for the Boston Tomcats football team. He has a big ego, but he also has a big heart, and a big…personality.

After reading Decker I was ready for Dash. Sports Romance is one of my favorite tropes. I like how the characters all come alive as I read the story. Dash and Charlie are a cute couple. There were surprises around every corner so that was a Bonus. I like to go into a story blind. This was a nice way to spend a few hours of my day while at work.

Dash and Charlie were hilarious and sweet with plenty of heat and they were so much fun. I love the friendship they developed and the relationships they had with their families. Emma Wilder and Connor Crais were perfect duo to bring this couple to life. Emma brings out Charlie’s strong and determined sides. Connor was perfect at bringing out Dash’s cocky but sweet personality. Mackenzie Cartwright and Evan Parker round out this audio great as the supporting cast.
Another great sports romance from the writing duo Kayley and Connor, can’t wait for the next Tomcats couple.

Loved the audio. Conner Crais can do no wrong with his narration.
Not even my least favorite female narrator could ruin this for me, the story is THAT good!

I’m not the biggest fan of the pregnancy trope, but I’ll read anything by this pair of authors. That said, this was an excellent book. The pregnancy and first few months of the baby’s life are a major part of the book. The book went on and on about how Dash was a “cocky” football player, but he was really just a confident, goofy, really good guy.
