I started re-watching Charmed the T.V show again recently & remembered that I still hadn't read this-Despite having had it for ages!
It didn't take me long to read, once I got used to the style-As I haven't read a Comic Book in ages!
I love the imagery-The Book of Shadows catch up in the beginning is great & the second Artist, Marcio Abreu, is my favourite out of the 2 main Artists featured. As the characters resemble the actresses a bit more & the style is more realistic-Especially body wise!
The plot was just like an episode of the T.V show, as was the dialogue-Corny moments {From both sides} & all!
I also enjoyed the Bonus Prelude Story & the Cover Gallery at the end. I love the Issue 2 Cover A Wraparound by Greg Horn-Beautiful!
I'm blatantly biased, as I love all things Charmed, but this is still a great Comic Book!

Contudo, tenciono continuar a ler.

I have mixed feelings on this, but I'm hopeful that the series will improve. The artwork is decent enough, although sometimes it seems a bit too bright and colourful when it shouldn't be, and the sisters often look like little girls. I also have mixed feelings with the plot, I don't think it was right to plunge straight into the kind of story that wouldn't be typical of the TV series i.e. the giant golem as an antagonist. I understand that moving to the medium of comic books opens up a lot of possibilities for the story, but it was too soon and too unrealistic for me (but then again, we are dealing with witches and demons here). If you were a fan of the TV series and don't have a dislike for comic books then give this a go, but don't expect it to live up to the show.

I read the entirety of season 9 and season 10 in a day. It's true to the show, and it's a fabulous continuation.

Watched 8 seasons of Charmed in 2 weeks, so what's more natural than diving headfirst into the graphic novel continuation of the series?

Season 9 picks up 18 months after the end of the show, with a bunch of new toddlers and of course new (and old) enemies. Honestly, the toddler part, I would have liked to see how it developed (i mean the pregnancy and stuff) but anyway.

I particularly love the artwork of the covers, because it most closely resembles the actual actors and actresses of the show.
