This book was, well, eh.

I like the characters. I liked the premise. It just felt weirdly paced. A lot of the elements felt pretty rushed, while other parts dragged a little.
SpoilerI wish Roman's character would have been explored more. I felt like his backstory was just sort of dropped into the story without really exploring what motivated him. It was like we were being told to empathize with him instead of liking him on our own.

All in all, I enjoyed this, but not as much as the first book. It was still a good read.

I am confused and yet intrigued at the same time. Also, none of this made sense.

4/5 Stars!

I really loved the first book in this series, and I really enjoyed this book as well! I think this is a really well plotted time travel story. I usually don't love books that have to do with time travel, but this series continues to impress me. I am super excited to see where the series goes next!

Thanks for reading!

*gasps* there had better be another book! I like Dorothy so much more in this book. She became an actual character and not just some lovesick puppy with a background in cons. The full cast was just far more interesting to follow and I loved the conflicts we run into with trying to change events with time travel.

Supposedly there is a third book?! I was so confused by that ending... it makes absolutely no sense. Otherwise, Twisted Fates is a fun time travel novel. Although, there really isn't all that much time traveling in this book... Actually, now that I think about it, not much really happens..? And yet, I enjoyed reading it (except for that ending, which really threw me for a loop because I thought this was the final book).
