Was this the best book ever? No, but I had a darn good time.
Read this via audio- wasn’t super crazy about the female’s narration but Cal’s?

Callum and Oaklyn were your typical forbidden professor/student romance with the twist that Oaklyn worked at a sex club that Callum frequented a lot. That part is what made the story a bit different from all the other teacher/student romances. You had a ten year age gap which didn't seem that distant considering Callum's past and some of the 'real firsts' he experienced with Oaklyn. I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it. This was my first Fiona Cole and I can't wait to read more by this author!

The slow burn, the angst- omg just seemed realistic! When I first saw the synopsis, I thought this was going to be straight erotica but the story between these two is actually truly beautiful. Love it!!

This was an okay read. The story involves a physics/astronomy professor and his student and their romance. This book was not the best student-teacher romance book that I have read. The characters were okay, but they did not live up to my expectations. Also, I felt that the story was a bit confusing at times. When we get to see what happened in the hero’s past, I did feel bad for him, but the story did not progress that much. The ending redeemed the book. Hence, the 3 star rating. Overall, an alright read.

Well after numerous attempts to get this book amazon decided to finally play nice and give me the fix I craved!
I felt like the Voyeur watching the scenes unfold in this epic story of forbidden love, past issues that haunt the present and strength in trusting the one person you could learn to love.
Their story had me captivated from the start and the chemistry was off the charts!!

Guter spice! Ich liebe so teacher-student Geschichten und Voyeur war genau perfekt. Ich mochte die Protagonisten wirklich sehr und fand die Idee mit dem Voyeur echt genial.

I really enjoyed this stand alone and I am looking forward to reading some of the other titles in this series.

I was impressed with how well written this story was. This is the first romance novel I have read that explained alcoholism in a way that was actually realistic. Calling vulnerabilities felt very real and I really liked how Oaklyn attempted to accommodate him without losing herself.

So often in age-gap or forbidden romance novels, the heroine is depicted as the “weak” or “damaged” partner. I really loved how the author was able to write a flawed heroine while not making her come off as “damaged goods”.

Over all, this book was well written and a very easy read.
