Kiera is so unbelievably selfish. As much as I loved this book, I can't bring myself to even like her. Kellan and Denny were the only reasons I read it, and she definitely doesn't deserve to have either of them in her life. I have always had a thing for the "moody artist," so Kellan is perfection. If not for anything else, read this book for him.

Keira was a whiny, indecisive main character. I found it hard to sympathize with her when she was cheating on an amazing boyfriend and bed hopping throughout the day. Both Kellan and Denny could have done better.

Re-read this book in April 2020 and I have no idea why I gave it 5 stars all those years ago. I was still quite young when I read it then, I guess. Couldn't even make it past the first half of the book when I reread.

Revising the rating to 3.5 stars as I clearly liked it before but not so much now I'm older. Would be interesting if I went through my old book faves to see what other books I've grown out of/not liked as much anymore.

I liked it. It had some parts that got a little boring and a little repetitive in the sense that some of the ecounters seemed like they may end differently but they ended the same way. There was a slight twist toward the end and the reunion was pretty good. But the ending seemed like they just didn't know how to end it so they wrote the end. The ending wasn't very strong.

I bought this book after a recommendation from one of my favorite authors but was skeptical when I saw a bunch of negative reviews on Amazon, especially criticizing the lead female character. WHY bad reviews, I have NO clue. I LOVED this book more than I can say! While I was not ok with the cheating aspect, the story was amazing. I loved the characters, fell in love with Kellan and found myself rooting for him and Kiera, just wishing Denny would leave.. People complained about Kiera's thought process and her highly sensitive ways and thoughts.. but I can only love her more for it, as she reminds me very much of myself. Another one day read for me and Im headed back in for Effortless :)

Re-read. I add another star every time I read this. LOL

This has always been an emotion roller coaster read. And judging from my social media accounts, there was a point when Kellan Kyle was all over my timeline. This series really affected me in a way, especially the second book. But let's save that for my Effortless re-read... :]

I really enjoyed this book. I do think however that it was a little longer than it needed to be.

4.5 stars :D
Couldn't give 5 stars. Why? Because at some moments I was so mad at Kiera ... but then we have Kellan ... Kellan <3 oh Kellan <3 Kellan ... Kellan ..

Those two... when they are near each other ... I am like

There is electicity between them D: I swear, they like produce it .... dunno how

And then there are his concerts

When he shows her how to play guitar

omg... and the best part ... they are alone ...

I go back and re-read it again

DUUH !
