Acknowledging one's own privilege and saturating the pages with humor only takes you so far down a narrative path of financial advise without eventually feeling disingenuous. This felt like a book to hype you up--and looking up the author's business doesn't inspire much faith in her efforts for much of anything else.

I very much enjoyed Financial Feminist and everything it presented and brought to the table - a very enjoyable and useful read that shed light on a lot of things for me - including how I view money and a unique way to change my mindset.

This was a very approachable guide to understanding all things money from the POV of a woman in a patriarchal world.

I did end up already knowing a lot of the information addressed, but it was good to have a refresher course on it. I liked that the book was written in a way that does not shame you or deprive you. I often feel that mindset is perpetuated in personal finance books because the audience is predominantly male, and it’s meant to be void of emotion. But money is emotional, no matter how you slice it.

I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about managing your money, or you just don’t know where to start. I think this would be a valuable resource in your arsenal as you figure out your money journey.

Super informative and some great tools on beginner investing. It was a bit cheesy at times for me. Tbh, I didn’t learn anything mind blowing or groundbreaking like I was hoping I would. A lot of things in here I assumed most people already know? Or maybe I’m just not the correct target market for this book and a lot of the information is really new to readers.
