What I love best about the Illuminae books is the energy, the adrenaline. The genuine fear for the characters, the constant danger, the endless plot twists. Gemina practically perfected the formula, so while Obsidio was an excellent book, I liked it slightly less than its predecessors.

I really enjoyed this book. It was my favorite out of the whole trilogy. I just wish there could've been more info about what was happening on the planet.
I also really wouldn't mind a short story about the events that take place between the end of the 'files' and the beginning of the trial.
That Plot Point happened again. So that's 4/4. They did mix it up in this one, so that was nice. Kept things interesting.

This trilogy was fantastic. Although, I feel like this last one lacked something? Can't put my finger on what. Nevertheless it was still a five-star read for me.
