not worth it

I DNF this book months ago, but decided to finish it today just to say I did because I only had about 50 pages left. It wasn’t worth it. The plot is mediocre at best and the intimate scenes where unoriginal, too frequent, and didn’t add to the story at all. I do not recommend the series.

This book has tons of action and the plot of the story than the first two. And though i like the intimacy between the FMC & MMC, i felt that at certain points it was a bit overdone and the characters could have connected on a different plane.

There was so much smut I ended up skipping the last couple scenes. It was always the same, every time they had sex - so I'm sure I didn't miss much.

Oof. I don’t even know how to leave this review. 
If I never read the word “nub” again, it’ll be too soon. 
Book 1 had me thinking that this series had the potential to be really good, book two was very repetitive, but okay enough for me to continue on. Then here comes book 3..I STRUGGLED to pick this book up and finish it because it was the same thing happening over and over. “He’s my mate.” Or “She is mine. I’m going to let the whole world know she’s mine.” Skip to the other prince “you’re mine, no one will ever question that you’re mine.” And back again to the other prince, “you will never touch my mate again”..after the 80th time, I really get it..they’re mates. 
Im all for a good spicy scene, but the amount of times I had to read about what he was doing to her “nub” was about 30 times too many. 
The plot progression took up MAYBE 3 chapters. The rest was useless, repetitive fillers.

This book best in the series so far, I didn't expect to cry at a smut book but here we are because the final battle was devasting but so good and I'm excited to read more about thalia and sorin.
