Read this with my 10 year old son - he enjoyed it a lot and is looking forward to the rest of the series.

I was hoping for more science, but was delighted to find a funny, action-packed and heartwarming story.

A lot of elements here I love in other contexts, but a number of parts of this really didn't work for me, despite the good writing and fun drawings, mostly where social dynamics felt shortcut or unreal, I guess.

Very sweet story about friendship and bullying told through the perspective of a young boy and his experience with the many robots his mom creates.

This book was so cute!! I have so many fifth graders who would love this. Underneath the whole robot brother goes to school comedy, there is a lot of really great themes. We see friendship, good family relationships, bullying, chronic illness, and much more. I really loved this one.

Good book. Liked the relationships. Drawings were good. Laughed out loud at points. Look forward to the rest in the series. Kid appeal.

Another Patterson book written for young people, but the young people who have little taste in what is good. I'm sure there are some young ones out there who thinks this is the best thing since sliced bread, but they would not be very discerning.
It is a poorly written story and does not do much for literature in general, it is gets people to read I guess it has achieved one thing, but try and get them to read something decent now they have began reading.
