OMG!! Collateral was Freaking AMAZING!! I love mafia romance and Knight is the Queen of Dark and Deliciously Dangerous!! Stefan is just what I needed!! I love him so much and I’m rooting on him to win this war that was started many years ago. Our Mafia princess, Gabi is the perfect blend of headstrong and sassy! Just because she’s young doesn’t mean she’s ignorant to what’s going on. She is smart and tries to stay one step ahead of her father and Stefan! A beautiful pawn with the power to destroy both sides! I just can’t get enough of these characters! I’m hooked and dying for the second book! I was on the edge of my seat, gripping my kindle and biting my lip! The tension between Stef and Gabi is so combustible rubbing your thighs together will set them off! I have a feeling not all is as it seems and the truths to come will be Epic! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review!

Good read

I enjoyed reading this book. Gabriela have gone through so much in her life at such a young age. Stefan may seem like a monster to her but he is truly her protector. She has stripped away some of Stefan walls and turns out he's catching feelings for her. Gabriela have her moments when she give in to Stephen's attraction but still thinks he's a monster. I felt as if the book and too abruptly for me. I felt as if more should've been added towards the ending of the book before it ended all of a sudden...but overall Collateral kept me interested and wanting more.

If you love Mafia story's then you HAVE got to read this one!!! You get mystery, an "arranged" marriage, and tons and tons of twists and turns. Now remember this is book 1 and there is one hell of a cliffy... I am trying to decide just what to type in my review. I do not want to give any kind of spoiler, but I want you to know just how alluring this story truly is.

Stephan is dangerous, dark, and so so sexy. He is out for revenge and will do whatever is necessary to get it. He has lost so much and has decided it's time to bring his family name back up to what it once was. That brings our beautiful and a little naive Gabriela into our story. Her history is jaded by the 1 person who should love and care for her. The 1st night he meets her he leaves her with a very vague promise. When he returns to make good on his promise she is a little confused, mixed with scared, and splashed with defiance. With all that she has seen and been through she is tough and has learned to be resilient.

In this 1st book we start to get a background to both of our broken souls. They both carry dark secrets, and there are a lot of unanswered questions that will have you turning the pages to find the answers. I can not wait to get my greedy little hands on the next 1. I have to know just how short-lived are going to end up.

Collateral is the first book in this mafia romance, arranged marriage with a part romantic suspense from a new to me author. If you love anything mafia romance, then I would heartily suggest you to pick this one, because man, this is just PERFECTION!

Gabriela strikes me with her strong sense of character, even at her young age, against her father's high handedness. But there is only so much she can do with an evil father like hers. She is just one of the pawns in a chessboard's game of her father's making. Stefan is the head of the Sabbioni mafia family and is out for revenge. He will stop at nothing and no one to get it and restore his family's reputation.

Stefan and Gabriela's initial reaction of hatred to one another was, in their mind, warranted given the circumstances they were in. I think I was going to die from the slow build of romance between them. I was legit gripping my e-reader from the sexual frustration but because of their unusual situation, it was like one step forward two steps back. There were some intense moments and I was downright swooning, but I need more, LOL. These two still have a lot to go through, especially on building up the trust. As of this moment, I have some feeling of foreboding that book two will be explosive. I have some theories and suspicions, and I would really love to get my hands on the next installment.

Overall, Collateral is hands down one of my favorite romantic suspense, mafia romance to this date. It is aptly titled as so and you would know the reason why as you dive in to this amazing story. It hooks me right up and I'm addicted to each written word on this book. I find myself savoring and pondering each moments. The story grips me from the get-go; it was that good! From one suspenseful, charged moments to sweet, thoughtful scenes, it was a wild roller coaster ride of emotions. I FLOVED it and October could not come soon enough!

What can I say this book grabbed me from the start and I can't still let it go, what an amazing arranged marriage mafia story. The characters are amazing, Gabriela and Stefan are a match. Gabriela is a strong woman on the outside, but she has been burned in so many ways her bravado is making Stefan question what has she really gone through. You will be dragged throughout all the emotions you can imagine and then get yourself ready to start begging for the next one. I strongly recommend you read this one. Natasha Knight I can only say bravo, you got yourself a 5 star review and on my Top 2019 book list.

I wasn’t aware when I got this book that it was part of a duology. That’s on me.
This is a fast paced read. I don’t do a lot of mafia or bully romance novels but there wasn’t gratuitous violence or gore. This felt very much like a consistent “plot driven” story. Plot being the main characters actions towards an end goal.
Definitely grabbed book 2 as soon as I finished this one to see what happens!

I love this trope... but this was a little too cliché. I think it picked up towards the last 25% so I’m going to keep reading to see what happens.
