Twin torment
I enjoyed this book in its original guise, many moons ago, this revamped 2.0 version is darker, grittier and definitely more up my street.
The twins Callie and Montana are forces to be reckoned with, love their feistiness and determination.
Magnar I kinda feel sorry for, after sleeping for1000 years the world is an alien place to him. He and Callie could be good together, there’s certainly lots of sparks despite his surly behaviour irritating her.
Prince Erik and Montana are at odds, his arrogance and dismissive behaviour enough to make her hate him even without him being a vampire, the very thing she hates the most.
Really enjoyed this and looking forward to the next angst filled instalment in this torrid tale.

Montana, I like that she's rebellious, but it seems to be annoyingly too much at times. Erik, I'm just loving him all together right now. I can't wait to see what he's scheming. Callie, out of the two sisters I'm liking her a lot more. I can't wait to learn more about her and her journey. Also, I can't wait to learn more about Magnar and the slayers.

This started off really slowly, and I definitely considered DNFing. It does eventually pick up. It wasn’t even necessarily world building, just took awhile for anything exciting to occur.

I absolutely love the sisters work. I honestly can’t get enough of it. This is my second read of the series since they have updated them.
