Original Review 2015: My only complaint: a little anti-climatic at the end.

I've gotta say overall this series is okay. In the beginning it seemed to drag and go really slow with not a whole lot of action, and I wasn't too sure about whether I was going to like the series or not, but the love story between Grace and Sam is what kept me interested and wanting to read more. The second book picked up and the last book was for sure the best out of the whole series.

Fantastic finale to a fantastic trilogy. I'm so glad that I finally read this book, because it was pure perfection. Now I can definitely say that this series gets better with each book. This one was so action-packed, intense and beautiful, it kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time. he whole series wrapped up nicely in this book and I can just say that I love the way this book ended. It was not this fairytale ending that leaves you with And they lived happily ever after... because that's not what happens, but it didn't break my heart either (okay, it did). It's this perfect bitter.sweet ending that you may or may not like, but it is how it is. Not everything can be perfect, but that's life and there is no perfect cure for everything.

When it comes to characters, I still love them all. However, I'm gonna start with my favourite one.
Oh, Cole. He's just amazing. I don't even know how to describe him, without spoiling everything. I just love him so much even though he's so messed up. His character is so complex and very well done, I could never come up with a character like that. He had my heart from the moment he showed up in the second book and he's gonna have it forever, despite some unexpected events when I wanted to throw the book over the room.
Isabel is the best female sidekick I've ever read about. I love her as well. She's just so badass, awesome and bitch when necessary. She changed completely throughout the series and I love how she turned out. Also, I love her relationship with Cole, they are definitely one of my OTPs.
I still have some mixed feeling about Sam, Yeah, I do love him, but I noticed that with each book I like him a bit less and I don't really know why. I guess that when Cole appeared in the book, my love for Sam started reducing and all the love was reserved for Cole. However, I still like Sam, just not as much as in the first book.
Grace is completely different now when she's a werewolf. However, I do like her now as well. Maybe even more than before. But no matter how much I like her, I loved her the most when she stood up to her parents and told them everything they deserve. Best scene ever!

Maggie Stiefvater has such a beautiful wiriting style, it amazes me every time. I just love that woman and her books.

I have no idea what else to say, since I'm pretty much repeating everything I've already said in my reviews for previous book, and I don't want to spoil you on anything, since this is supposed to be a spoiler-free review. And because I really want to talk more about this book and analyze the whole series and how it all wrapped up, I'm going to make a spoilery discussion on the whole trilogy, hopefully soon. I don't recommend you reading that if you haven't read all the books, though. But in that case, what are you waiting for? Go and read these books, they are truly amazing!

I forgot to review this and don't even remember when I finished it, though it must have been in the last week. I am trying to recall any of my feelings about this book and coming up mostly empty. I definitely think I'm over the werewolf trope in YA fiction (as is the world, I realize--this book is old now!). It was a typical overwrought high school romance novel. I felt the cliffhanger of book 2 warranted a dip into book 3, but it was unwarranted. In the end it was short enough to be completed without too much effort, though.

Another reread, still love these stories. An excellent ending to the trilogy.

As with the first two novels of this series, [a:Maggie Stiefvater|1330292|Maggie Stiefvater|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1268241579p2/1330292.jpg]'s lyrical prose captivated me. I loved this book almost as much as I did the first two. That said, I only gave it four stars as it fell short as the final in a series. Too much was left hanging and unresolved for it to satisfy. Had this been the third of more, I would have given it five.

Better. I still don't like colored ink. I do really enjoy her characters. A lot. Her writing style is...so very detailed that it sometimes annoys me. But the end was well done, and while it left some things open, it closed everything enough.

First of all, I actually loved both Cole and Isabel in this book! They were both coming to terms with who they are, and what they can do with their lives, as well as being so totally honest!

Sam, Grace and the wolves found some unlikely allies when Tom Culpepper got the go-ahead to use a helocopter to chase the wolves, and the fact that a cop helped them with new woods in a secluded area, that actually belonged to him made it even better.

I loved that Sam was able to talk to Beck once more, after Cole injected him with his adrenalin-whatnot to make him human for a little while.

Grace's parents were still total asshats in this book, but she finally actually got to tell them how wrong they were, and that she really was an adult, even if she wasn't 18 yet. I am with Grace and Rachel, though, I can't believe Amy replaced Grace with a kitten! o.O that was just not right at all! Poor Grace. Good thing she had Sam in her life.

I think the most beautiful scenes in the whole series were when Sam and Grace were wolves together, and they ran with the pack towards salvation. They recognized each other, and their love was still strong, even Cole recognized that they behaved the same way towards each other as thed did when they were human.

Beautiful story, and the way it ended will probably lead to a lot of excellent fanfics :D
