A charming tale, it captures the christmas spirit and energy without being heavy-handed. A nice little twist at the end and despite it's simple nature, is a very fun detective story with a surprise.

Feel good little Christmas story from Sherlock Holmes's master storyteller Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Enjoyable, and a really quick read. Very timely so, too, as we are almost at Christmas and I love reading Christmas stories during this time of the year :)

This was a light and enjoyable Sherlock Holmes mystery that I recommend listening to in audiobook form while you stroll through a white snowy trails or walk your dog in a neighborhood decked out with Christmas lights.

Just couldn't get into it. Kinda hard to do so in a 45 min audiobook. You either are in or not.

Just a quick short story that paints Sherlock Holmes and Watson as the people they are. A jewel has gone missing and it somehow made its way into their hands, and they are working to determine who may have stolen it. Per the usual, Holmes has all the answers. Again, simple and elegant.

a lovely little festive read. another interesting perspective on sherlock too, as he humorously declines to fix the police’s mistakes for them.
