This book has it all: adventure, magic, and hilariously funny. I had a great time with this book.

Ok I’ve seen this ridiculously named series in the bookstore and had to bite, and it’s as silly as the titles allude to. The book was very short, so it felt like relationships progressed a mile a minute. Also the 2024 slang being used in like a medieval ish setting was so odd at first, and then at times she’d use older slang, and I was like no if you’re going to commit to the bit- commit. You can’t waffle in writing style. So it was as expected?
