Mostly I was interested in hearing about Fearnes own take because she’s someone of a similar age who I’ve grown up with from her early days on ‘diggit’ to now. It was refreshing to know that even someone as cool and seemingly together as Fearne also has had issues through her life. That sounds a ridiculous comment to even make but in a word of Instagram filters and seeing her on screen smiling and having it all she gives a nice reminder that actually, we’re all human with our own families, struggles, issues and low points. I doubt I’ll be making the suggested salad but yeah I definitely see her in a new, positive ‘happy’ light. If we had more people like her in the world it’s be a much happier place.

This is was a bit disappointing. Cotton doesn't go into much detail about her own mental health problems (specifically with depression), rather she spouts a lot of shallow, well meaning advice about how to be happy and stay happy.
For those who are really struggling with depression and are desperate for help, this is not the book to read.

A book about being happy funnily enough.
Really its a book talking about depression, anxiety and how to cope and work through it. There are stories from different people about mental illness and how they coped or are coping with it and the methods they use.
Little exercises through that get you to think about how you feel.
I loved it basically because Fearne. She is lovely and I thought she made everything sound so 'normal'. It was like she had described everything going on in my head. Her mum wrote a few pages about anxiety at the beginning of the book and I basically nodded my way through the whole thing.
Good book for if you want to understand a bit more about anxiety and depressiontoo.

Disappointing, I'm afraid. I really wanted this to be amazing. I've read lots of mental health books but this just didn't cut it for me.

Shouldn't be an audio book, especially on borrowbox where you don't get access to the guest interviews
