I loved Remy! I found this world to be intriguing. I liked the typesof vampire the author created. I always enjoy a mystery sub-plot and the romantic sub-plot was strong too. Overall I really enjoyed this. This was the perfect blend of fantasy and romance.

I am interested in this story but I also feel so disconnected from the characters. I can't see myself loving this story by the end of it. It is just sooooo long.

I cannot recommend this book enough. The first half of the book can get slow with politics and dialogue, but every time your interest slows the author drops a carrot to pull you back in. A slow burn romance with consent as the main sexiness factor, and a genuine growth of connection between the lovers. Fantastic twists that you don't see coming, alongside the ones you should've. Absolutely thrilled for book 2 in April!!
