You know when you read one of those books and just find yourself smiling the whole time? Yep this one right here, 100%. You have to read this book, especially if you are a hockey romance girl like me

I think the number of skipped pages equalled the number of read pages
So technically this was a DNF??? IDK
this book was boring as a whole
What was the aim of it?

I hate books where the h starts of "I can never go for him" and 2 pages down she's doing him
Have some self respect woman!

The other thing I hate is when the h sees the H with another women on his lap laughing and joking, and of course gets the idea that he is cheating, is angry with him but then turns out that the girl was his sister
But what I hate is that the h always apologizes! Why would she apologize? He's the one who should be apologizing! What does he expect? That she psychicly knows that this is his sister!
" I fucked up" she said
"Yes you did"
NO SHE DIDNT
IF I SEE MY HUSBAND SMOCCHING A STRANGER I'LL SHOOT FIRST ASK QUESTIONS LATER

Then we have the psycho ex, because how else we'll add drama to a boring book.

Anyways
This ends with this book

Loved it! I love miller so much and I can never get enough of bad boy+good girl, it does it for me every single time. I loved how breezy the story felt while also keeping a good pace and progression of the relationship. It was a really good story and I love love love that there wasn’t a third act breakup!! I absolutely hate those, so it was refreshing that this story didn’t have one. I love how they worked together and their relationship just made sense. Really enjoyed this!

Another hockey romance that I enjoyed very much! This had me hooked until the very end and then it wasn't my favorite. Dani had been burned by an ex before meeting Miller, so I loved getting to watch Miller grovel in order to convince Dani to go out with him. I loved how Dani took the school project so seriously in order to help improve the hockey team's reputation. The banter between Miller and Dani was unmatched and I LOVED it.

The last maybe 5-10ish chapters is where this book lost one star for me. It seemed like to much hit Miller and Dani all at once and it was back to back. Some of the things could have been left out and this book would be so much better in my opinion. I liked seeing Miller be so protective over Dani once her ex came back into the picture. It was so nice to see how the boys on the team, the coach, Dani, and Sophie all got along so well and was like a little family.

Overall this book had me hooked even aside from the last bit of it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves hockey romances.

4.25 ⭐️ It ripped my heart out and then trampled on it, only to piece it back together at the end
