The dance of dragons was just so sad which peaked at the moment that small folks murdered all the dragons in kings landing. And I think Martin really likes House of Stark lol

This was a reread for me because I hadn’t read it in so long and wanted to remember details before watching the show. I forgot how much I love GRRM’s world building and intricate details. Still hate how he writes women and treats them though.

This book goes through the lineage from Aegon the Conquerer to Aegon III. All of the details, twists, turns, and backstabbing that happens in the Targaryen line to eventually lead to their downfall.

Disclaimer: dragons die

I need the cliff notes... It gave me a headache. Reads like a history book that isn't history. Not for me.
