“The Martians are Coming” - Civilization is more delicate but also more resilient that we probably think! Parts were fun to read, others felt more play-by-play and didn’t always have the same gravitas as other Wells’ books.

La guerra de los mundos es la primera novela que toca la idea de una invasión extraterrestre y el autor aprovecha para hacer un paralelismo sobra las conquistas que ha realizado la humanidad a los largo de la historia.

En esta historia el autor construye una especie de fabula donde advierte que no importa que tan inteligentes y desarrollados nos creamos eso no nos da derecho de pasar sobre otras especies y/o razas que consideremos inferiores, porque al final la naturaleza se encargara de ponernos en nuestro lugar.

Algo que he amado del autor en las dos novelas que llevo leídas es como utiliza sus historias para hablarnos de temas sociales, políticos y morales, dándonos una visión pesimista del futuro sino cambiamos ciertas actitudes pero lo hace de una manera tan sutil que no sientes que te esta dando un sermón, al contrario fluye muy bien con la historia.

Me lo disfrutado un montón, se nota la mejora de su escritura en relación a la su primera novela la maquina del tiempo .
