Another great addition to this series. I'm unsure when I stopped reading this series (I know I owned the first three but I'm unsure if I read beyond them) but this is definitely my first time reading this book. It was fun and magical with a happy ending

This book was literally so sweet. I think it's my favorite Emily Windsnap book so far! I'm really glad I decided to continue on with this series, because honestly it's so fun, even if it's way below my reading level.

An entry into the Emily Windsnap series that feels distinctly different in genre than the other books. Emily's past and trauma from being kidnapped and risking her life weighs heavily on her in this book, and the last quarter of the book with her exploring Atlantis takes a turn into the horror genre. The plot twist with why Lowenna is stuck in Atlantis is especially horrific. My only gripe is that it feels like it's written in two different time periods, and I'm not sure that's intentional. Only one year has passed since the beginning of the series, where the first book was set ~ 2003, and now Mandy finds it odd that computers are physically connected to the modem. That's not a ~ 2003 thing.
Graphic: Confinement and Gaslighting
Moderate: Death and Panic attacks/disorders
Minor: Suicidal thoughts, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , and Pregnancy
