MM Romance
4 Stars ⭐️

Audiobook Narrators: Teddy Hamilton and Tim Paige
⭐️The narration of this book was fantastic and I have no complaints. 5 Stars ⭐️

I haven’t been in the mood to write long reviews unless the book gives me a reason to rant so this will be shorter than usual. I liked this book and absolutely adored Deacon and Julian but I had some issues with it that made me unable to rate it 5 stars. While I tried to have no expectations, this is one of those beloved MM romances that people rave about and from what I heard I just thought I’d feel more than I did. This has an angsty tone because of the subject matter but besides loving the couple, I didn’t feel much sadness until the second to last chapter. That chapter had me crying my eyes out, all 2 minutes and 9 seconds of it

Hmmmm… I would say this is really like 3.75 buuuut I’m rounding up. Overall I really enjoyed it, the only reason it’s not a full 4 stars is bc of me. I’m in a high angst, slow burn kinda mood —-which this book totally meet the criteria— but at the 60% mark they were basically together and I could have stood for it to be stretched out a bit longer.

I am not sure I have read the same novel as other reviewers. I did not see heartbreak, no drama, nor instalove. It was just another lovestory, drama provided by family, and lacking the compulsory trouble in paradise.
All the characters were wonderfull and I loved reading this book, but I like to feel some emotion while reading.

HOLY MOLY!! I'm blown away by Without You by Marley Valentine. This book was emotional and overwhelming in a good way. I am floored and still trying to pick up the pieces of my heart. But the end...perfect.

Deacon and Julian are perfectly imperfect, but there is even more to this than that. They are both suffering, and in their blackness, they find each other. These characters will win your hearts, and you will keep turning the page to see what happens next. I do warn you to have a blanket, a cup of tea (or something stronger), and a box of tissues with you when you read this book. I absolutely loved it, the characters, and the plot. And you will too! 5 stars and I recommend you one-click this one today!
