Really love the full cast graphic audio format, much easier to tell what’s going on when voice actors are distinguishable. The plot was really good, many unknown Dooku facts and information that make me want to rewatch the clonewars. There were some slow bits, but in general once the story gets going it’s good.

I've always been intrigued by Dooku, but never really understood him. This book was the perfect exploration of Dooku's character and a very sad look into how someone who once wanted to do such good could turn into the very thing he once fought against. Framing the story through Ventress coming to learn of Dooku, too, was a great narrative choice. I've always loved her, but this made me even more resolute in my defense of her.
This was also my first time listening to a Star Wars audio drama and I 100% get the hype now. It was such a great experience and the cast were amazing. I can't wait to listen to more!

This took me forever to finish. It had some awesome moments, but also a lot of moments I personally found cringe worthy. Perhaps it was the voice actor for Dooku, who was not bad but just not Dooku either. I also found his story of him leaving the Jedi conflicts with Tales of the Jedi. Obviously not the books fault as it was written before, but still frustrating. Side note on that, people are saying it doesn’t conflict because it never explicitly says he’s a Jedi in the third Dooku episode of tales of the Jedi, but it just seems stupid if he’s walking around the temple and in the archives and talking to everyone as not a Jedi. I just didn’t like a lot of the story in this audio drama sadly, but that’s ok because Cavan Scott redeems himself in The Rising Storm which is based

Amazing!
This was so good that it really surprised me of the story of Dooku! There are reasons for the Jedi’s beliefs…but overall everyone is human…
