This is my first RE-read since this series came out and I’m so happy to say it still slaps! It’s fast paced, the character development is perfection, and you cannot help but become invested in the story! Also re reading these as an adult has me noticing so many more social conversations that I just didn’t pick up on back then. I devoured this in 24 hours and immediately started Catching Fire because that ending?! That ending! Chefs Kiss! Round of applause for Suzanna Collins! She’s brilliant!

Entirely amazed by Suzanne Collins. Rereading this as an adult, I stand by my love for this book and think that it definitely deserved the hyped it got. An iconic and extremely well-crafted novel.

Re-read this book almost a decade after I read it for the first time, and I have to say, I feel just as captivated now as I did back then. It's such an incredible book, and it's so beautifully written. I got so absorbed into the book I read nearly half in one sitting. It has the perfect balance between detail and pace , it's so easy to imagine exactly what Katniss sees and feels .
